Dedworth Middle School Gardening Club recently received a much needed order of Springbridge Tree and Shrub Compost for their school garden, with the monies raised from a non-uniform day fundraiser.

The children at DMS have been busy digging the compost into the raised beds in the polytunnel to grow fruit and vegetables (pictured below), looking forward to the fruits of their labour in the coming weeks and months.

"Everyone involved with the project was really delighted with the quality of compost that was delivered", said Alex Imbastari - Mathematics teacher, Key Stage 2 and 3.

Other projects which are currently underway at the school include the Dedworth Middle School allotments and annual Potato Growing competition - Goodluck to everyone involved!
