Springbridge is getting ready for the FF1600 Motor Racing Season
Springbridge together with industry partners Paynes Turf, London Rock, Northern Commercials and Rapid Hire Services sponsor Tom Hawkins, Managing Director at Springbridge (pictured) Formula Ford team member.
Tom, as member of the TM Racing team is getting ready for the racing season by taking part in pre-season testing at the Silverstone National Circuit to iron out any issues before the races begin next month. He has recently achieved two tenths of his personal best on the track, which is encouraging and shows great potential for the season ahead which kicks off next month.
The British Formula Ford Championship was an entry level single seater motor racing category, racing drivers from around the world are attracted to the UK to compete in the series. Successful Formula One drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Jenson Button won their first single-seater titles in this championship.
The championship was run to various Formula Ford regulations over the years, based on the engines provided for the championship by Ford Motor Company.
