Letting Grow is a community organisation set up in 2018 to act as a platform to promote a greener planet - their focus being on building community whilst educating people on the benefits of gardening and farming.

“We teach kids how to grow and cook their own fruit and veg. We create spaces for them to do so. We aim to build community by growing food”, says Ross Walker Co- Founder & Lead Gardener.

Ross also explains, “We started letting grow so that we could run workshops that really engage the children so that they can get their hands dirty and have fun growing vegetables in their own classrooms”.

Hannah Niskanen Co-Founder & Garden Design and Events says, “It would be great to get schools in the UK covered in plants - the mental health benefits for the students would be amazing”.

Springbridge have had the pleasure of assisting with current project at the The Pavilion Café at North Acton Playing Fields, where we delivered our Tree and Shrub Compost. Here the design and implementation of an outdoor garden kitchen has been well underway since May this year.

At North Acton Allotments, Springbridge supplied our Blended Topsoil mixed with added Mushroom Compost - perfect for vegetable plots that are being created and need a lot of organic matter.

Letting Grow have a full and rich upcoming schedule of projects including the Hampshire Kitchen Garden, Ealing Alternative Provision, North Acton Playing Fields, Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls and Hillyfield Primary School to name a few so watch this space!

There are a variety of workshops and events centred around growing fruit and veg, the environment and how to lead a more sustainable life. See here for more info: https://www.lettinggrow.com/edible-green-spacing
