There are two main types of bark mulch which also generally look good as a natural ground cover and pathway creator.
Ornamental Bark Mulch
Produced from mixed conifer bark gathered entirely from the British Isles, our ornamental bark mulch is an attractive product that will enhance the appearance of your garden. As well as being a more aesthetically-pleasing mulch, it serves the same functional purposes as other mulches.
The ornamental bark mulch available through Springbridge is a medium-sized amenity screened from 10-60mm. All our standard bulk bags measure 750mm x 850mm x 950mm and are filled to the brim with his high quality forestry woodchip. There are also mini bark mulch bulk bags which are perfect for topping-up an existing mulch area.
Woodland Bark Mulch
Another great quality but more affordable option is the woodland bark mulch. It features a blend of soft and hardwood and is particularly ideal for landscaping and gardening projects that need wide coverage. You can also be certain that there are no chemical contaminants as our woodland bark mulch is sourced entirely from the British Isles.
The woodland bark mulch available through Springbridge has been composted for 8 weeks to remove any traces of green and is perfect for any large applications that require a depth of 50-100mm, though we do recommend allowing an extra 10% for settlement.
